NEW CONSTRUCTION FOR:
CHIPPEWA COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
KINROSS CHARTER TOWNSHIP, MI
The Chippewa County EDC is seeking sealed bids for construction of a 20,000 SF Manufacturing Building and Rail Spur Expansion in Kincheloe, Michigan which will be received by Sidock Group, Inc., 757 S. Wisconsin Ave., Gaylord, Michigan 49735 until 3:00 pm local time, on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. Bids may be hand delivered, mailed, or emailed as PDFs.
Bids emailed day of bid should be sent to: bbutcher@sidockgroup.com Deliveries after the cut-off time will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened at 3:05pm in the same office.
The principal items of work consist of the following: Construction of a new Manufacturing Building and Rail Spur Expansion including associated site work. See Bid Documents dated 6/21/23.

Questions will be accepted until 5:00 pm, Wednesday, September 27, 2023; and should be directed in writing via email to Gint Gaska, AIA, at Sidock Group, Inc., email: ggaska@sidockgroup.com
The intent of the Owner is to award one (1) Contract for the entire project.
Proposals must be accompanied by a bid guarantee which may be in the form of cash or a cashier’s check in an amount not less than 5% of the bid, payable to “C.C.E.D.C.” or an approved Bid Bond for not less than 5% of the bid. A 100% performance bond and a payment bond is required. See the Technical Specifications for all contracting provisions to be included in the bid package. This is a Davis-Bacon, current prevailing wage rate, project. This project must also comply with the requirements of the “Build America, Buy America” (BABA) act.

Bids shall remain firm and shall not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after bid opening.
The CCEDC reserves the right to accept, reject or negotiate any or all bids to waive or not waive informalities or irregularities in the bids or bidding procedures and to accept any bid determined by the Owner to be in the best interest of the Owner, regardless of price.
