County EDC Board Welcomes Appointments to Board of Directors
The Chippewa County Board of Commissioners during its Regular session on Thursday, September 15th appointed Mr. Jack Frost as a Board of Director of the Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation. Mr. Frost will serve the remaining term of Mr. Ralf Wilhelms who resigned from the Board in August 2022.
Mr. Frost is currently the Executive Vice President – Chief Lending Officer at Old Mission Bank, Sault Saint Marie, Michigan. Prior to this position, he was the Senior Vice President – Trust & Wealth Management for Range Bank. He is a Board Member and Treasurer of the Lake Superior Academy Charter School, a member of the Sault Rotary Club and was also elected as a Board Member of the Sault Area Chamber of Commerce in February 2022.

Jack is a graduate of Western Michigan University earning a Baccalaureate degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance and Economics. Jack is married, with four children. Mr. Frost’s appointment is effective September 15, 2022 and will serve through March 31, 2026.
The Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation’s mission is to encourage economic growth through strengthening the county’s competitive position and facilitating investments that build capacity, create jobs, generate economic opportunity, and improve quality of life. The Chippewa County EDC also manages the Chippewa County International Airport and the Kincheloe Industrial Park.
